MOUNT OLIVE (12/02/06) – Tammy and Dave Jones are community activists here whose names pop up time and again in volunteer activity programs whether with the Kiwanis and other service organizations to fund raising activities for scouting and the public library.
This past week-end they turned their attention to spread some Christmas Cheer to our furry friends at Noah's Ark on Route 46 in Ledgewood.
The couple who run Jones Estate Cleanouts New Jersey donated 12 blankets, bags of dog food and cat food, kitty litter, bleach, and more useful pet items to make the winter season more comfortable for the cats and dogs at the animal shelter.
They have many pets themselves and decided to help out the shelter in the difficult winter season. Residents wishing to make a donation to Noah's Ark they currently are in need of canned and dry dog food, canned cat food (no fish flavors), puppy and kitten food (dry) Friskies and Purina, litter boxes, pet toys, blankets and towels, dishwasher soap, six inch paper plates, and they have an urgent need for bleach, laundry detergent and paper towels.
Noah's Ark was started in 1966 by eight Morris County women who wanted to
do something about pet overpopulation and animal welfare. It provides pet adoption service and is located at 1915 Route 46 West, Ledgewood. Noah's Ark provides homeless animals with a loving environment that is clean and comfortable. They provide their animal guests with food, veterinary care, and lots of love.
